How Long Does Microblading Last: Find Out The Truth

Microblading typically lasts about a year give or take on skin type and lifestyle choices which varies per person. Aftercare also plays a big role in this. If you have more oily skin then microblading usually fades quicker and requires touch-ups. This may be at the 6-month mark this make be longer. Now if you have more of a dry or a combo skin type then microblading usually lasts longer. At about a year your brows will have faded a decent amount but pigment will still be there. If you expose yourself to more sun, water, exercise, and facial treatments then your eyebrows will also lighten quicker. You have to remember your skin is a very powerful organ wanting to quickly heal the brows so it is your job to follow the aftercare instructions otherwise the brows may not last as long as you’d like. If you follow the aftercare you will be in love with your new brows!

The nice thing with microblading is that the pigments were formulated specifically for this procedure on your face where the pigment does not turn a crazy blue, green, or gray color like some tattoos. Organic products are used, making it wear off with time as opposed to changing color. Not worrying about having to do your brows every morning is such an amazing feeling! Think about all the time you will save each morning not having to fill them in…Kind of crazy right?

Microblading Saves You Time Each Morning

Now let’s break it down… you spend at least five minutes a day trying to make your brows look right. Now think about how there is 365 days a year so that’s 1825 minutes a year which equals over 30 hours a year you spend just on brows. Don’t forget washing them off before bed takes time too because I’m sure you won’t want brow makeup on your pillow! So now, lets double that number…That leaves you spending over 60 hours a year dealing with brows only.

You can fix this solution with microblading where you will feel so put together and ready to get your day started by spending less time in the mirror trying to fill in or draw on your eyebrows. Also, microblading is waterproof and smudge proof so you won’t have to worry about accidentally wiping off your brows…how nice! Microblading is the look you want that lasts longer!
